Meet the Host
Hello, I’m Zeddy Bariti, a storyteller, strategist, communicator and the host and founder of The Power Dialogue Africa.
For more than a decade, my work has lived at the intersection of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, digital strategy and storytelling. But my deepest interest has always been people, what they build, what they believe, where they come from and the possibilities they create for those who come after them.
That curiosity became a bigger mission with The Power Dialogue Africa, a stage for Africans redefining what’s possible.
Under the banner Africa, Reimagined, the platform puts African excellence in the spotlight through conversations across Leadership, Innovation and Culture. I seek out the founders, leaders, creators, innovators, thinkers and cultural custodians whose work challenges assumptions and gives us new ways to see Africa.
I have set myself a personal goal to document 1,000 meaningful conversations by 2030 building a living record of the people, ideas and stories proving that Africa has always been remarkable.
Because I believe Africa does not lack remarkable stories. Too often, we simply don’t hear enough of them.
The Power Dialogue Africa is my contribution to changing that, creating a stage where Africans can tell their own stories, share their ideas, challenge assumptions and connect their experiences to a bigger picture of what the continent can become.
Beyond the podcast, I bring more than a decade of experience working in strategic communications and public relations across leading institutions, including the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of East African Community, the ASALs and Regional Development and KenGen PLC.
My work spans strategic brand management, marketing, stakeholder engagement, public communication and digital advocacy, and has earned recognition from the Public Relations Society of Kenya and the Africa Energy Forum.
But at the heart of it all is a simple conviction. The stories we choose to tell shape what we believe is possible.
And Africa has always been remarkable!

Our mission is to reposition African ingenuity at the centre of the global story spotlighting the leaders, innovators, and culture-bearers who are redefining what’s possible on the continent. We believe storytelling is not only entertainment, it is economic strategy, psychological liberation, and a blueprint for nation-building. When Africans reclaim the pen, we reclaim the future.
Vision
A world where Africa’s story is told by Africans first, where narrative sovereignty is treated as infrastructure, not afterthought, and where the continent’s leadership, innovation, and culture are understood on their own terms rather than through someone else’s lens.
